What are common symptoms of acid reflux?

Common symptoms of acid reflux include heartburn, a burning sensation in the chest or throat, often occurring after meals or at night. Regurgitation, where stomach contents flow back into the mouth, can cause a sour taste. Persistent cough, especially when lying down or at night, may also signal acid reflux.

Other symptoms encompass difficulty swallowing (dysphagia), chest pain, and a sensation of a lump in the throat (globus sensation). Chronic hoarseness or changes in voice quality are also linked to acid reflux.

It's crucial to note that symptoms can vary among individuals. If these symptoms persist, consulting with a healthcare professional is advisable for proper evaluation and diagnosis.
